Solution: To unveil Burger King’s new BK Crown Program for kids, Turtle Transit created a massive 60-ft crown as a focal point for a P.R stunt to honor the Statue of Liberty’s 125th birthday. The large-scale crown was constructed out of aluminum and mounted onto a steel deck designed to mimic the new interactive BK kids meal box. The crown and meal box were finished in vibrant large format graphics. Turtle Transit sent a team of craftsmen to New York to assemble the exhibit in time for the stunt. The giant BK crown generated enormous buzz and media attention as it floated down the Hudson River on a barge towards Liberty Island to celebrate Lady Liberty’s birthday. At Liberty Island, Guinness World Records held an inauguration to induct Burger King as a record holder for constructing the largest aluminum crown. Burger King also donated $125,000 to the Statue of Liberty’s restoration fund.
