TURTLE LAUNCHES SECOND MOBILE TOUR WITH DISNEY PARKS
Disney Parks "Give a Day Get a Disney Day" Tour Celebrates Goodwill to Others
Beginning in January ’10, Disney Parks will offer consumers a free day admission to a Disney theme park when you volunteer a day of service at a participating organization. “The Give a Day Get a Disney Day” Tour is a continuing effort to position the Disney experience as a way to celebrate life’s special moments - and the celebration of giving to others.
Turtle Transit first collaborated with Disney Parks on the design of the 31- city “What Will You Celebrate?” Mobile Tour back in ’08. With all the success the tour generated for the brand , Disney Parks once again reached out to Turtle to design a mobile program for their special promotion.
Turtle Transit fabricated a custom branded sprinter van for the 20-city awareness tour. Turtle removed the existing interior of the van, and fabricated custom storage for costumes and tour materials. A dividing wall was also installed inside, acting as a partition from the driver’s area to the back of the van. Turtle installed a colorful vehicle wrap to the exterior of the van, guaranteed to grab the attention of consumers in transit.
The custom branded sprinter van transports a Disney Parks’ musical street group, “The JaMMitors” to each tour stop. While parked at event location, ‘The JaMMitors” give an outside musical performance while tour staff educates consumers on how to volunteer for a free day at a Disney Parks. The “Give a Day Get a Disney Day” Tour will continue this winter.
